Our History

Eva Marie Events is a labor of love for Eva, who first discovered her knack for event planning at six years old. After her first taste of the thrill and festivity of a successful event, she was hooked!

Eva’s event philosophy stems from her belief that life is made up of moments, which turn into memories, which we then remember and relive for the rest of our lives. Each event is an opportunity to create a cherished memory, and Eva truly relishes every detail. Alongside her incredible team, Eva has seamlessly executed countless weddings and private events up and down California’s central coast.

Before starting Eva Marie Events, Eva’s career spanned all facets of the event space. She began as an event manager in a popular Santa Barbara restaurant, planning holiday celebrations, rehearsal dinners, and small wedding receptions on the property. She later moved into roles with Lauren Kendle Events and V Productions, where she worked red-carpet events in and around Los Angeles. Her expertise contributed to the success of Elton John’s annual Oscar party, Capitol Records album release parties, and a number of other non-profit events.

As she built a name for herself in the industry, Eva naturally began to take her own clients and referrals, and Eva Marie Events was born! Today, Eva delights in the adventure of taking a blank canvas and turning it into an unforgettable event, bringing each client’s wildest dreams to life. She views each event as a beautiful opportunity to facilitate joy, excitement, and pure bliss for attendees. It just never gets old!
